Summer Reading runs through August 2nd

Save the date for our Summer Reading Celebration on Wednesday, August 2, from 3:30-5 PM featuring Scotty the Balloon Guy.




What is "Summer Reading"?

Summer Reading is an incentive program to keep kids reading (or being read aloud to) all summer long. Chidren age 3 - grade 6 sign up and set a goal for how much reading they will try to do over the summer. Children check in at the library during check in hours to let us know about the progress they are making towards their goal.

It's not too late to sign up! Sign up anytime during our SUMMER READING CHECK IN HOURS.




Summer Reading Wednesdays

Wednesdays, July 5 - July 26, 3:00 - 5:00 pm:

• Check in about summer reading progress
• Enjoy a scavenger hunt challenge and win a small prize! (preschool hunt & challenging hunt for older kids each week)
• Enjoy an "open craft" kit (make a craft of your choice with materials provided)

Summer Crafts

Mondays, July 10 - July 31, 3:00 - 5:00 pm Stop in anytime between 3 & 5 pm (be sure to arrive no later than 4:30 pm to allow time to do the craft) to do a different craft each Monday with Olivia!




Babies/Tot Storytime

Tuesdays at 10:30 am, July 18 - August 1 A "songs in a circle" storytime for babies and tots ages 3 months to 30 months.




Preschool Storytime

Thursdays at 3:30 pm, July 6 - July 27 Enjoy a preschool storytime for almost 3s through 5 years olds with Judy on Thursdays.
